Abortion in Japan

Recentry, abortion have become serious issue, especialy among young people. It is important to think about it because, perhaps,we will be faced with the problem whether abort our unborn babies or not, in the future.

First of all, I wanted to know recent abortion in Japan. Then, I found the fact that 276,352 artificial abortion were taken in Japan in 2006, and the ratio of the number of the abortions for birth 100 is 25.3 cases. I was surprised because I didn't know so many abortion were taken during a year in Japan. If you want to know more about abortion of Japan, please check it.

I was really glad to see that you were one of the first groups that introduced questions about your issue, which you subsequently researched. Although Wikipedia can be a good source for casual information gathering, it can't be relied upon too much--especially when no sources are provided. This is a problem with both the English and Japanese Wikipedia sites. It's fine to consult the site, but you should double-check the information you find at other sites. For example, the Health and Welfare Ministry may have more reliable statistics on this.

Notice at the bottom of the Wikipedia entry there was a note calling out for someone who could check the accuracy of the article. This makes it especially suspicious. Actually, I thought the number given for abortions in Japan, 276,352, sounded too low. I suspect it's far higher. Check a few more sources and keep asking those good questions!

Cheers,
